Chocolates to distribute

Distribute all six chocolates so each child ends with 2 bars.
Tips:
  • Start by giving one chocolate to each child.
  • Repeat the rotation so every child receives the same number of bars.
How to think about it:
  1. There are 6 chocolates and 3 children.
  2. Share the first three bars so each child gets one whole chocolate.
  3. Give the remaining three bars in the same order. Everyone now has 2 chocolates.
6 chocolates ÷ 3 children = 2 chocolates each. Moving the bars into equal piles models fair sharing.
